About the design:
I made this pattern years ago when my Mum planted a beautiful veggie patch on our family farm, we were constantly filling our pockets with produce or often pesky weeds! We needed a better solution. Thus the idea was made, and I sewed one for each of us. I remember one morning I had 3 dozen eggs in my apron - I basically waddled back to the house.
Though my intention was for the garden, I have found myself wearing it around the house. It's so good for cleaning - lost socks, random toy cars, little pieces of rubbish - they all go in the great big apron pocket and keep my hands free to move about.
I really love this design and I hope you will too!

Fabric usage & suggestions:
This is a very versatile pattern, you can use light - medium weight fabric like cotton, linen, denim & corduroy. Keep in mind the thicker the fabric - the stiffer your finished apron will sit when worn.
