I really love projects like this, very simple and easy to complete but you can appreciate it all the time because it’s so useful! These covers are super beginner friendly, the quilted version is a little more challenging - a lovely project to try to expand your skills. Great idea for a homemade gift.
The cover is lined, with a slit in the back to refill the bottle - it's easiest to put the bottle into the cover empty.

Fabric usage & suggestions
This pattern will work best for thick cotton canvas, corduroy, denim, linen or quilted light weight cottons and linen.
Standard Cover: L95cm X D45cm
Quilted Cover: L115cm X D55cm + Wadding 95cm X 45cm
Fitting Notes
This hot water bottle cover is designed to suit a 2L bottle - approximately 35cm X 21cm in size. This is a standard size and should be easy to find in stores. However I recommend measuring your hot water bottle first to see that it will be a nice fit, make adjustments to the pattern if necessary.
