About the design:
Simple design - great functionality! This bag is a great size, not too big and bulky but still large enough to fit my essentials i.e. laptop, charger, ipad and books.
Even though it's a very basic pattern, there is lots of room for creativity… adding lace trim, ruffles, patchwork, using denim jeans with a patch pocket - lots of possibilities!!
I feel this is a great beginner pattern, with options for more moderate sewists who love quilted finishes. I truly hope this pattern blesses you and that you find joy working on this project!

Fabric usage & suggestions:
This pattern will work best for thick cotton canvas, corduroy, denim, linen or quilted light weight cottons and linen.
Standard bag: L105cm X D95cm
Quilted Bag: L120cm X D110cm + Wadding 120cm X 110cm
Fitting Notes
This bag is a great universal size - comfortably fitting laptops, ipads and books - if you want to make adjustments to the bag size start with pattern piece A (main bag) just remember to add/subtract the same length and width to pattern piece C (bag lining).
